It was a warm summer day when a group of children in a small town decided to create a time capsule. They wanted to preserve a piece of their childhood and share it with the future generations. They gathered all sorts of items, from photographs and toys to letters and drawings.
As they buried the time capsule in a secluded spot, they made a vow to return to the spot in twenty years' time, on the same date, to unearth it and reminisce about their childhood memories.
Years passed, and the children grew up and moved away from the town. Some lost touch with each other, and some even forgot about the time capsule.
But one day, as fate would have it, a few of them met again by chance, and they remembered their childhood pact. They decided to return to the town and find the time capsule.
As they dug up the time capsule, they were filled with excitement and nostalgia. They marveled at the items they had collected, the photographs and toys that had once meant so much to them.
But as they were about to close the capsule again, they noticed a small envelope that they had not seen before. It was addressed to them, from their younger selves.
