Max was a scruffy little dog who loved nothing more than chasing after squirrels in the park. He was a friendly little guy and had a wagging tail for everyone he met. But Max had a special bond with his owner, a young girl named Lily.
Lily had grown up with Max, and they had been inseparable since the day he had wagged his tail at her in the animal shelter. Max was always by Lily's side, whether she was playing in the yard or doing her homework.
